Eighty years ago, a group of individuals from the two Virginias saw a need
to make quality music and arts entertainment available to the people of our region.
Blue Mountain Performing Arts was chartered as a member of the Community Concert Association of America in 1935.
At Blue Mountain Performing Arts, we seek to encourage live public performances of music, the teaching of music, and foster an appreciation of music history.
We bring a wide variety of quality arts programming to the community at affordable prices.
We appreciate our donors and members who make each season possible. Ticket sales cover only about
36% of each year’s expenses. We have created the Gift of Music Fund to bridge the gap between annual sales, grants, and actual costs.

BMPA Season Ticket Members may attend all concerts held by the Beckley Concert Association (BCA) at no additional cost!
Members may also attend all performing arts series concerts at Bluefield College.
Blue Mountain Performing Arts enjoys a reciprocating agreement with the BCA. Detailed information of the BCA concert season will be included with your tickets.
